Where Quality Begins: Inside Ziraland’s Product Standards

At Ziraland, quality is not limited to a single product category. It is the foundation behind everything we supply — from frozen desserts and puff pastries to herbs, seafood, and future product lines. Every item we offer is built around clean ingredients, careful handling, and production methods designed to preserve flavour, structure, and performance.

Ingredient Integrity Across Every Category Integrity

Quality starts with ingredients you can recognize and trust. Whether we are producing baked goods, freezing herbs, or preparing seafood, our approach remains consistent:

  • No unnecessary fillers
  • No artificial colours or flavour enhancers
  • No shortcuts taken to extend shelf life
  • Ingredients selected for performance, taste, and consistency

From real butter and flour in our baked goods to carefully sourced herbs and seafood, every input is chosen with purpose.

Baked Goods & Puff Pastries Made From the Ground Up

Our baked goods, including Bourekas, puff pastries, and desserts, are made starting from the base dough itself. We produce the pastry from scratch, controlling texture, layering, and bake performance from the beginning.

Fillings are prepared using real ingredients:

  • Real feta cheese, vegetables, nuts, and coconut
  • No premixed blends or artificial fillers
  • Balanced ratios designed for flavour and visual appeal

Eggs are used as part of the pastry and preparation process where appropriate, contributing to structure, colour, and baking quality rather than acting as substitutes or fillers.

Frozen Desserts Crafted for Consistency

Ziraland desserts are based on traditional recipes refined for modern freezing and storage. Products such as Shekarbura, Mutaki, Kyata, Pakhlava, and Baklava are prepared with care, shaped with attention to detail, and frozen at peak quality to preserve texture and flavour.

Freezing allows us to deliver desserts that:

  • Maintain structure after thawing
  • Perform consistently in retail and foodservice environments
  • Retain their handcrafted appearance

Frozen Herbs Preserved Within Hours

Our frozen herbs — including basil, parsley, and dill — are harvested and processed rapidly to preserve freshness.

  • Herbs are cut in the field and transported directly to the facility
  • Within hours, they are washed, chopped, and frozen
  • Freezing locks in colour, aroma, and natural flavour

This process ensures herbs that behave like fresh in professional kitchens, without the waste or inconsistency of fresh supply.

Seafood Prepared With Precision

Ziraland’s seafood offerings, including tuna, follow the same uncompromising quality standards applied across our entire product range.

Fish is cut fresh and rapidly frozen to preserve structure, flavour, and integrity. Products are offered in simple, functional formats: frozen steaks and loins, or canned tuna prepared under controlled conditions.

Our canned tuna is OU Kosher certified and available in solid, chunk, or flake, packed in water or oil, making it suitable for retail, foodservice, and manufacturing use.

Whether frozen or canned, every step emphasizes clean processing, careful handling, and consistent performance you can rely on.

Freezing as a Quality Strategy

Freezing is not used as a shortcut — it is a controlled method to preserve products at their best.

  • Products are frozen shortly after preparation or harvest
  • Structure, moisture, and flavour are protected
  • No chemical stabilizers or artificial extenders are used

This allows Ziraland products to perform reliably across retail, bakery, foodservice, and distribution environments.

Built for Today, Ready for What’s Next

Ziraland’s standards apply not only to what we supply today, but to future product lines as well. As we expand into new frozen food categories, our approach remains the same: clean ingredients, thoughtful preparation, and processes designed for long-term reliability.

Why Our Standards Matter

Retailers, foodservice operators, and distributors choose Ziraland because our products are built to perform:

  • Consistent quality across batches

  • Clean-label advantage in competitive markets

  • Reduced waste and handling issues

  • Reliable supply and clear specifications

Quality is not a claim - it is the system behind everything we do.

  • How long do Ziraland pastries last in the freezer?

When stored at proper freezing temperatures, Ziraland pastries have a shelf life of up to 18 months. Each box is labeled with a clear “best before” date for easy inventory tracking.

  • How long do Ziraland pastries last after thawing?

Once thawed, most products stay fresh for 5 days to 2 weeks, depending on the specific pastry and your storage conditions. We recommend refrigerating after thawing and following instructions on each label.

  • Do Ziraland pastries contain preservatives or artificial ingredients?

No. Ziraland pastries are 100% clean-label, made without preservatives, artificial flavours, synthetic colours, or GMOs.

  • Are Ziraland products halal or kosher certified?

Yes, all of our pastries are halal-certified, and kosher certification is currently in progress. Certificates are available upon request for wholesale and retail partners.

  • Where are your ingredients sourced from?

We use a mix of local and international premium sources. For example, our walnuts and flour are sourced from trusted Azerbaijani suppliers, while our butter comes from New Zealand for its superior quality and texture.

  • How are the pastries frozen?

We use a blast freezing process at -30°C, locking in moisture and flavour immediately after baking. This eliminates the need for chemical preservatives and extends shelf life without compromising quality.
